CFA Institute cancels December exams due to Covid restrictions

The CFA Institute canceled December screenings at 37 locations worldwide due to limitations related to the coronavirus pandemic.

The December dates for the financial analyst exam have been canceled in 13 US cities, including New York, San Francisco and Chicago, as well as 11 cities in India, according to a statement posted on the CFA Institute website. Candidates will be able to reschedule the exam to dates in 2021, and those twice affected by pandemic-related schedule changes can apply for a refund, the institute said.

From 2021 onwards, all exams will be performed in digital format. The Level I test will be offered four times a year instead of twice, and the Level II and III exams will be offered twice a year, not just once.
